We had a lot of fun with this series.  Charles picked me for several reasons.  1) I was affordable and willing to work in pieces; 2) I had a lot of experience with fantasy illustration, especially archetypes and most especially with the pen & ink format he wanted (we ended up using Photoshop for the backgrounds, though), and; 3) I have a strong ability for illustrating ethnic features (very important for this project).
