This piece is called "Twin Dragons" and was a contract ink wash on rice paper! The original is about 4 ft. x 1 ft. I had never worked in ink wash or on rice paper when I took this contract (therefore I undercharged the guy). It ended up being well worth it (lucky me). There's nothing easy about this, ink wash smudges easily and rice paper sucks ink up like James Woods sucks up every role he can get his hands on... Anyway, real tricky project, but I was very happy with the result. If you ever come out to my studio, I have a full-size copy in my "Medieval Asia" Dining Room! -1997
