I apprenticed to be a tattoo artist back in '94, but apprentice-ship is unpaid as tattoo art is solely
commission work. I couldn't afford to wait until I was making money, so after rendering my first (and only) tattoo, I returned
to design work. Since then, I've enjoyed helping people render custom designs that they can present to a tattoo artist, confident
that the artist can work with it!
