Character Portraits, sometimes also referred to as Fantasy Portraits, can be defined in several ways. For the most
part, these are portraits where I capture the face of the subject and put it on any persona they desire. These are usually
faeries, mermaids, superheroes and medieval/fantasy warriors.
However, I will sometimes use a description instead of a subject's photo. These are usually used by role-players,
writers and costume designers who want a visual reference of their character, costume or idea.
These also break down into 2 major fields, the more portrait-like, usually performed in Prismacolor Pencil, are what I
think of as "Fantasy Portraits", and are more realistic (and a touch pricier). The more stylized, "comic-book" like
portraits (mostly all but the left row) are used more by the role-players and writers and are usually pencil, pen & ink
or computer color. Click on the thumbs below to view the full-size images, or thumb through them after clicking the

(With the exception of Superheroes; which goes to its own sub-site, there's a lot to see!), the rest are all contract pieces.
